Person of Interest Filmed in Violent Robbery on P Street

Police are seeking a man filmed in connection with a violent robbery that occurred last Friday evening at the 2100 block of P Street NW.

In the video, the person of interest can be seen leaving a P Street establishment.

Police say that on Friday at approximately 11:45 p.m., a man approached someone and reached into their pockets. Though the victim walked away, the man cornered the victim inside a building, shut the door, and forcibly stole several personal belongings that were hanging from the victim’s neck.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
