PHOTOS: Ethiopian Cafe Opens in Former Caribbean Citations Space

Shaw residents now have one more place to get Ethiopian food.

Piassa EthioCuisine & Cafe opened at 1336 9th Street NW last Friday.

The cafe sells traditional Ethiopian dishes, espresso drinks, salads and desserts. The eatery also has an outdoor patio space.

The cafe replaced Caribbean Citations, which relocated to 1208 Maple View Place SE in May.
