Kevin Bacon Plays Surprise Concert in Columbia Heights
A small crowd of locals can now argue they’re just one degree from Kevin Bacon.
Bacon — along with brother Michael — played a surprise pop-up concert in the Girard Children’s Community Garden on Saturday.
The Bacon brothers played several songs and chatted with members of the public and volunteers from City Blossoms, a local non-profit dedicated to using food and art to develop green garden spaces.
Naturally, several people in attendance took to Twitter to show their appreciation.
Build community with creative green spaces and they will come. Awesome work @CityBlossoms! @baconbros @kevinbacon pic.twitter.com/i1PacOcGiY
