A small crowd of locals can now argue they’re just one degree from Kevin Bacon.

Bacon — along with brother Michael — played a surprise pop-up concert in the Girard Children’s Community Garden on Saturday.

The Bacon brothers played several songs and chatted with members of the public and volunteers from City Blossoms, a local non-profit dedicated to using food and art to develop green garden spaces.

Naturally, several people in attendance took to Twitter to show their appreciation.

  1. It’s nice to see some fun news in a time with a lot of sad/violent news. I wonder if concerts at City Blossoms programs are going to become a normal thing.
