Cyclist Struck by Car Near Howard University

(Updated at 11:15 a.m.) A cyclist was struck by a car near Howard University, tweeted D.C. Fire and EMS officials at 10:46 a.m.

Emergency crews transported the cyclist to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, says D.C. Fire and EMS spokesperson Oscar Mendez.
