Man Forced Into Van, Sexually Assaulted in Columbia Heights
(Updated at 7:46 p.m.) A man was forced into a van at gunpoint and sexually assaulted in Columbia Heights on Friday night, D.C. Police say.
According to police, a man was walking near 14th Street and Parkwood Place NW around 8 p.m. when he was approached by another man holding a gun. Police say the gun-wielding man then forced the victim into a white van and sexually assaulted him.
Police are currently on the lookout for two men. One suspect is described as “Hispanic,” six-foot-one to six-foot-two inches tall, 22 to 27 years of age, slim with short, black curly hair and was last seen wearing an orange shirt and grey sweat pants.
The other is described as having a “light complexion,” heavyset and 17 to 19 years of age.
At least five other men of unknown descriptions were also involved, say police.
