D.C. Police officials have identified the man they arrested for allegedly stabbing two other men near the 1400 block of Columbia Road NW around 4:04 p.m. yesterday.
Nelson Martinez-Portillo, 18, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon yesterday at 5:14 p.m., authorities said today.
Information on his lawyer wasn’t immediately available.
Police say Martinez-Portillo stabbed the two men following an argument, and was apprehended shortly thereafter.
Both victims were transported to the hospital following the stabbing; one in critical condition, the other with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
