Woman Sexually Assaulted, Robbed on Lanier Place NW

A woman was robbed and sexually assaulted near the 1700 block of Lanier Place NW early Monday morning, say police.

Police say the woman was approached, then assaulted and robbed by a man wielding a screwdriver around 1:15 a.m. on Monday.

The man was described to police as “Hispanic,” in his mid 20s and 5-feet-6 or 7. He is also described as wearing a black shirt with white lettering on the front, white socks which were pushed down and blue short pants.
