Police on the Lookout for Suspected Thief Near U Street

D.C. Police are seeking a suspected thief filmed near U Street last month.

According to police, the man shown in the video is wanted in connection with a theft that occurred on the 2100 block of 14th Street NW on Aug. 14 around 8:57 a.m.

In the video, a man in a white T-shirt and red backpack can be seen walking through a parking garage and opening a door labeled “no trespassing.” The man is then shown leaving the building with what appears to be a bicycle.

Police did not provide more information about the theft when contacted this morning.
