According to police, the driver picked up two men near the intersection of 4th and Rhode Island Ave. NE around 9:10 p.m. and drove them to the intersection of 5th and Q streets NW. When they arrived, one of the men pointed a gun to the back of the driver’s head and demanded that he hand over his property.

Police said the suspects robbed the driver, jumped out of the car and fled eastbound through an alley. Authorities are still on the lookout for the two suspects.
