Suspect, Victim Identified in Fatal Shooting at 14th and V NW

(Updated at 3:32 p.m.) D.C. Police have identified the suspect and victim in last night’s deadly shooting at 14th and V streets NW.

Police said 29-year-old Raphael Antonio Roy of Northwest, D.C. shot and killed 29-year-old Delany Christopher Epps of Northeast, D.C. around 8:25 p.m.

 

Roy was arrested last night charged with first degree murder while armed. Matthew Davies, Roy’s lawyer, couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

Police are still investigating the shooting.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
