Man Arrested for Fatal Park View Shooting in July

D.C. Police have arrested a man they say shot and killed another man in Park View in July.

Police say 24-year-old Sean Green shot and killed Derrick Black, 24, near the 3300 block of Georgia Avenue NW on July 30 around 9:25 p.m.

When authorities arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found Black suffering from several gunshot wounds. Though Black was transported to a local hospital from the scene, he later died from  his injuries.

Police have charged Green with first-degree murder while armed. Information regarding Green’s lawyer was not immediately available.
