U Street Might Get a New Gay Bar Early Next Year
A new bar catering to the LGBT community might open on the U Street corridor in the coming months.
The Dirty Goose is slated to open at 913 U St. NW this spring, co-owner Daniel Honeycutt said in a brief interview today. The bar will have multiple floors, including a roof deck, he said. It also will serve brunch.

The bar, which has a tagline of “Birds of a Feather Drink Together,” is within a block of gay club Town Danceboutique and Nellie’s Sports Bar, which often holds LGBT events.
