Mount Pleasant Pop-Up to Sell Alligator Shoes, Vintage Furniture


Mount Pleasant is getting a holiday pop-up shop that will have alligator shoes, mid-century modern furniture and other vintage goods for sale.
The store from D.C.-based R. Bernard Estate Liquidators is slated to begin its temporary run on the second floor of 3165 Mount Pleasant St. NW Sunday. It is scheduled to shut down Dec. 22.

We often wonder what dealers and collectors have tucked away; well here’s your chance to come and shop from a selection of very fine and unique treasures. This is where you want to shop for yourself and that person who “has everything”!
We have a great selection of men’s and women’s vintage clothing: mock turtle necks, Italian knits, Sansabelt, and more. We have designer handbags, alligator shoes, select pieces of mid-century, Rosewood Asian curio, custom African rockers and statuary, a table from Roche Bobois, an excellent selection of cuff links and vintage jewelry, beautiful antique tapestries, a great selection of handmade rugs, wall hangings by Harris Strong, fun and fine pieces of art, also a wonderful selection of lanterns, clothes, baskets, jewelry and more from our host, Boveda Tribes. Unique shopping for unique people!
The store only is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. It’s closed on Thanksgiving.
