See Bei Bei Early — The National Zoo has started a “#PandaStory” contest that will let winners see giant panda cub Bei Bei on Dec. 19, almost a month before his official debut on Jan. 16. Contestants must submit videos of 15 seconds or less to the zoo via Instagram for a chance to meet the panda early. [DCist]

Hummus-Focused Eatery Coming to Dupont — DGS Delicatessen at 1317 Connecticut Ave. NW is slated to have an eatery dedicated to hummus in its basement by early next month. The fast-casual restaurant will be called Little Sesame. [Washington City Paper]
