Adams Morgan Locals Launch Holiday Decorations Contest

A new competition is underway in Adams Morgan to determine the “best” holiday display and to claim the bragging rights that go along with the honor.

Locals can vote for their favorite holiday decorations for businesses and homes in the neighborhood via email as part of the inaugural “Lights of Adams Morgan” contest. Voting runs until Dec. 15.

“We’d like this fun and friendly competition that brings a festive spirit enjoyed by neighborhood residents and visitors to grow and become an annual affair people look forward to bringing their friends and families to,” John Zottoli, an organizer of the competition, said in a statement.
