Dunkin’ Donuts on 14th Street Closed Temporarily Over ‘Pests’ — The Dunkin’ Donuts at 2001 14th St. NW is closed for now after a D.C. food safety and hygiene inspector reported yesterday that the coffee shop was “failing to minimize the presence of insects, rodents and other pests on the premises,” according to the D.C. Department of Health. Employees of the Dunkin’ Donuts told Borderstan this morning that they would reopen the eatery tomorrow.
Cannabis Clubs in D.C.? — Marijuana activist Adam Eidinger is looking to put forth two ballot initiatives intended to legalize pot use in private bars and clubs if the D.C. Council continues its current ban on businesses that allow customers to smoke weed on their premises. [Washington City Paper]
