Man Stabbed in Arm on U Street
A man was arrested after stabbing another man in the arm on U Street early this morning, police said.
The stabbing occurred on the 1200 block of U Street NW at about 2:45 a.m. The area is close to Ben’s Chili Bowl and the U Street Metro station.
Though the suspect fled the scene in a car described as a silver Hummer, officers were able to locate and arrest him “a short distance away.”
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
In other crime news, a D.C. crime alert said a stabbing occurred on the 1000 block of 7th Street NW around 3:30 a.m.
