New CVS Opening in Mount Vernon Triangle on Sunday

The shelves are stocked, the pharmacy is full of pills and the coolers are packed with AriZona tea. CVS is coming to the Mount Vernon Triangle.

The retailer will open its newest D.C. store near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at 655 K Street NW on Sunday, according to a sign posted to the building’s front door. Workers could be seen putting the final touches on the new store earlier today.

The new store will span 10,000 square feet, as reported on the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District blog in March.
