Kolaches Leaving American Ice Co., But Not for Good

American Ice Co. is going sans-kolache for the rest of the year, after this weekend.

The bar, which has hosted Republic Kolache every Saturday since this summer, is set to serve the bakery’s last fruit- and meat-filled pastries of the year at 917 V St. NW tomorrow. The Republic Kolache pop-up location will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Czech-inspired food is expected to return to American Ice Co. Jan. 9.
