Man Sentenced for Attacks on Women in Dupont — A 31-year-old man received a three-year prison sentence Friday after pleading guilty to kidnapping and misdemeanor sexual abuse charges connected to attacks in Dupont. He grabbed a female college student and another young woman and tried to bring them to secluded places near 18th and M streets NW after he had “a night of heavy drinking and [attended] a strip club on M Street,” prosecutors said.
