Man Missing from Washington Hospital Center

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 74-year-old man who is missing from Washington Hospital Center near Howard University and may need medical attention.

John Matthews was last seen at the hospital at 110 Irving St. NW yesterday.

Matthews is described as a black man with black hair, approximately 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He’s also missing two fingers on each hand — the ring and middle on the right, and ring and index on the left.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey slip-on shoes and a Washington Redskins beanie hat.

Police are asking the public in the area to be on the lookout for Matthews and be aware he may require medical attention.
