(Updated at 8:50 a.m.) The Francis L. Cardozo Education Campus is closed today “due to utilities issues,” District of Columbia Public Schools announced this morning.
The campus at 1200 Clifton St. NW lost power and is without heat this morning, a school representative told Borderstan. Officials hope to resume classes at the school tomorrow, the Cardozo staffer said.
Capitol Hill Montessori in Northeast D.C. also won’t open this morning in response to “utilities issues,” DCPS officials added.
Cardozo had about 780 middle and high school students during the 2014-2015 school year, according to its most recent headcount published online.
