14th Street Asian Bistro Looks to Add Beer and Wine

There may soon be one more place on 14th Street to have a beer or a glass of wine.

14th Street Cafe Asian Bistro, which first opened at 1416 14th Street NW in July, has a liquor license application now on file with the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, according to a notice the agency published last week.

Neng Hsiang Wang, a representative for the restaurant, said the bistro is looking to serve beer and wine, but not cocktails.

The D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is expected to rule on the eatery’s application in the coming months.
