The liquor, wine and beer store will donate $5 to Garrison Elementary for every purchase of select red, white or sparkling wines from Feb. 1-10. Buyers will automatically be entered into a raffle.

Stuffed marmot Potomac Phil will climb — or be hoisted — upon his pulpit and predict whether we’ll have six more weeks of winter and political gridlock. There will also be accordion music, a puppet show and free cookies and coffee.
