Police carPolice have apprehended a 54-year-old man in connection with three burglaries in Dupont Circle and two other crimes in Northwest D.C., authorities announced Friday night.

Darryl Gomillion of Southeast D.C. was arrested and charged last week in burglaries on the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue NW on Nov. 3 and 9, as well as Dec. 24. He also was charged in an unlawful entry on the 1300 block of 18th Street NW on Jan. 18 and a theft on the 1000 block of 31st Street NW between Jan. 15 and 21.

In the Christmas Eve burglary, a surveillance camera in a business caught a man taking what appeared to be bottles of liquor from a storage room, as cardboard cutouts of Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man in the World” looked on.

A lawyer for Gomillion wasn’t immediately available to comment.
