Don’t know where to celebrate “Fat Tuesday?” Looking for something to do for Valentine’s Day?

The Borderstan Blueprint is back with some suggestions:

Tuesday

Fat Tuesday
Ivy and Coney (1537 7th St. NW)
4 p.m.

Ivy and Coney bartenders are planning to hand out about 1,000 tiny pierogi and nearly 100 paczki for free as part of its second annual “Fat Tuesday” celebration.

Mardi Gras Carnivale
U Street Music Hall (1115 U St. NW)
7 p.m.

Performers Jonny Grave & the Tombstones, Footwerk, Party Like It’s, Burlesque by Cherie Sweetbottom and Dainty Dandridge will put on their own version of Mardi Gras at U Street Music Hall. Tickets are $15.

Thursday

Big Head Todd and the Monsters
9:30 Club (815 V St. NW)
6:30 p.m.

Rock band Big Head Todd and the Monsters will take the stage at the 9:30 Club. Tickets are $35.

Saturday

Cupid’s Undie Run
Eden nightclub (1720 I St. NW)
Noon

People only wearing their underwear will brave the cold to run for charity near the White House. Online registration costs $55.

Nerd Nite
DC9 Nightclub (1940 9th St. NW)
6:30 p.m.

Nerd Nite will return with discussions from experts on animal sex and human sexuality. Tickets are $10.

My Rock & Roll Valentine Variety Show
Black Cat (1811 14th St. NW)
9 p.m.

Burlesque and sideshow performers will put their spin on Valentine’s Day. Tickets are $12 in advance at $15 on the day of the show.

Sunday

Saving Shaw School
Shaw (Watha T. Daniel) Library (1630 7th St. NW)
3 p.m.

Playwright and historian Carole Mumin will screen her short film, “Saving Shaw School.” The movie incorporates dialogue from “Raisin in the Sun” into a story about locals’ efforts to keep a school from closing. Some of the film’s actors will participate in a discussion after the screening.

DC Improv (1140 Connecticut Ave. NW)
7:30 and 9:45 p.m.

Comedian Christian Finnegan will bring his stand-up act to DC Improv. Tickets are $17.
