Jack’s Fresh Opening in Former TJ’s Gourmet Space Downtown

Jack’s Fresh will soon have another outpost in D.C.

Signs advertising the forthcoming breakfast and lunch restaurant went up yesterday at 1400 L Street NW, the space that formerly held TJ’s Gourmet Deli.

TJ’s Gourmet Deli closed its doors in November after 15 years in business.

Jack’s Fresh sells a variety of breakfast and lunch platters, sandwiches and wraps. Like TJ Gourmet before it, the eatery also has a breakfast and lunch buffet.

Jack’s Fresh currently operates three stores across D.C., according to its website. A representative for the company was not available to comment on when the new eatery might open.
