‘Pornburger’ Chef and Artist to Collaborate During Nude Drawing Dinner
The chef famous for sinful burgers and a local artist will pair up for a night of dining and drawing naked people this weekend.
During the two-hour workshop taking place at the Lemon Bowl work space (3015 Georgia Ave. NW) this Saturday, burger pornographer and chef Mathew Ramsey will prepare small bites and cocktails while artist and Left Door bartender Martin Swift “gives a hands-on drawing instructional on capturing the human form in all of its naked glory.”
In other words, attendees will nosh and sip as they practice sketching a nude male model.
“It’s just an excuse for me to get together with some of my favorite collaborators and make a night sexy,” Ramsey told us over the phone earlier today. “It’s fun art with really just kind of sexy food pairings.”
What’s on the menu? Ramsey hasn’t quite worked that out yet. The Pornburger chef said he plans to feature ingredients like lobster and salted beet carpaccio. But no burgers.
“It’s all going to be a lot of small bites,” Ramsey said. “Things you can nibble on while you draw a penis.”
Tickets cost $95 for one person, $180 for two.
