Yoga Heights to Give Free Classes to Park View Cleanup Volunteers

A Park View yoga studio is planning to give free classes to locals who help spruce up the neighborhood this weekend.

Yoga Heights at 3506 Georgia Ave. NW is offering a complimentary class pass to each of the first 30 volunteers who spend 90 minutes helping with a community cleanup on Saturday, according to an email from the Mayor’s Office of Community Relations & Service. Interested locals should meet at Warder and Lamont streets NW at 10 a.m.

The cleanup, organized by the Georgia & Lamont Public Safety Task Force, is expected to become a monthly event. But the starting location will move around Park View.
