The Dirty Goose is scheduled to pop up at BKK Cookshop (1700 New Jersey Ave. NW) Thursday, March 17, from 5 to 10 p.m. BKK is slated to have “several of the classic cocktails” that The Dirty Goose plans to serve when it opens this spring at 913 U St. NW, according to a Facebook event post.

Profits from drink sales during the pop-up event will go toward SMYAL, which helps LGBT youth in the Washington area.

“The pop-up event will be an opportunity for two unique, locally-owned, Shaw businesses to unite for a fun evening of great food, great drink, and great company for a great cause,” the Facebook post says.

The Dirty Goose, which has a tagline of “Birds of a Feather Drink Together,” will have a “an upscale, modern atmosphere offering unique takes on classic cocktails and a custom selection of appetizers and light entrees,” according to the event page.
