‘Veep’ Cast and Crew Celebrate Super Tuesday in West End

Several “Veep” cast and crew members were spotted last night celebrating Super Tuesday like true politicians: at the swanky Ritz-Carlton hotel in West End D.C.

David Mandel, executive producer of the hit HBO comedy, earlier today tweeted a photo of a group of people that included actors Timothy Simons, Sam Richardson, Matt Walsh, Gary Cole and Chris Addison inside the Ritz-Carlton’s Quadrant bar.

If Mandel’s Twitter feed is any indication, the group of actors and staffers celebrated Super Tuesday with red, white and blue cookies shaped like donkeys and elephants.

The show is expected to wrap up filming in D.C. tomorrow, according to The Washington Post. “Veep” has so far been shot scenes at Navy Yard, Hains Point, DAR Constitution Hall and Spring Valley, among other places.
