Philly’s Pizzeria Vetri to Open Location on 14th St. NW in June

A pizza chain recently acquired by Urban Outfitters has plans to open a location on 14th Street NW this summer.

Philadelphia’s Pizzeria Vetri will open at 2221 14th St. NW as early as June, a representative for the company told us today.

We first learned of the opening earlier today after spotting a building permit for a new restaurant slated for 2221 14th Street NW. The building permit reads:

Tenant build out to a fully operational restaurant. Scope of work to include exterior modifications, signage, minor modifications to existing storefront grills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural.

Eater D.C. first hinted that the pizza chain had its eye on 14th and Florida NW last June.
