Woman Makes Use of Taser, Metal Chain After Told to Leave Dupont Bar
A woman fired off a stun gun multiple times and tried to hit a man with a metal chain outside a Dupont Circle bar after someone told her to leave there early yesterday morning, police said.
The incident happened in front of Some Place Else (the former Townhouse Tavern) at 1637 R St. NW about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The man was arguing with the woman about leaving the bar when she became irate, according to authorities. He then called 911.
The woman soon after pulled out a Taser and discharged it numerous times without hitting anyone before walking away.
But she wasn’t done with the man yet.
The woman came back with a metal chain and tried to hit him with it.
Police have arrested 27-year-old Nalaisha Walker in connection with crime.
Sara Kopecki, Walker’s lawyer, declined to comment.
