A man suspected of flashing two guns at a woman and robbing her in Adams Morgan last month has appeared on surveillance footage.
The armed robbery happened on the 2220 block of Champlain Street NW about 3:45 a.m. Feb. 6.
Video police distributed yesterday in connection with crime shows a man walking in a street and then sprinting up to two people under the Marie Reed Aquatic Center breezeway. One of the people ran away soon after.
The man then appeared to point a gun at the person who remained and took items from the individual before fleeing.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
