Furniture Store And Beige Closes in Adams Morgan

Adams Morgan has lost a purveyor of high end furniture.

And Beige, located at 1781 Florida Ave. NW, closed on Sunday after eight years in business, an employee at the store confirmed. A sign on the front door of the shop says it shuttered after a “closing sale.”

A soon-to-be-ending lease, lack of foot traffic and competition from other stores in the area contributed to the shop’s demise, said the employee, who did not wish to be named.

The store sold furniture, mirrors, lighting fixtures and interior decorations.
