Banish boredom to the abyss from whence it came. Here’s a smattering of events happening across the area through next Monday:

Tuesday

A People’s Choir Singalong
DC9 (1940 9th St. NW)
7:30 p.m.

A crowd of total strangers will meet to sing pop sings and drown their sorrows. Each month, the group belts out tunes related to a particular theme. This month’s theme is “dangerous situations.”

Thursday

Heurich’s Lager Relaunch
Heurich House (1307 New Hampshire Ave. NW)
8 p.m.

Heurich House Museum (1307 New Hampshire Ave. NW) will celebrate the day of Heurich’s Lager’s relaunch with a glitzy, prohibition-themed party inside the mansion that D.C. brewer Christian Heurich once called home.

G. Love and the Special Sauce
9:30 Club (815 V St. NW)
7 p.m.

The band behind ’90s hit “My Baby’s Got Sauce” will, uh, get saucy on the 9:30 Club stage.

Saturday

Philz Coffee Soft Opening
1827 Adams Mill Rd. NW
10 a.m.

Philz Coffee employees — including CEO Jacob Jaber — will celebrate the company’s opening in D.C. with Adams Morgan locals.

Columbia Heights Community Easter Egg Hunt and Party
Columbia Heights Community Center (1480 Girard St. NW)
11 a.m.

Kids hunt for more than 3,000 Easter eggs during two hunts: one for tykes seven or younger, the other for kids eight to 14 years old. The celebration will also include music, free food a raffle and games.

Gay Bash D.C.
Black Cat (1811 14th St. NW)
10 p.m.

The monthly all-ages queer dance party and drag show returns with performances from Summer Camp, Jaxknife, Rumor Millz and Salvadora Dali and music from Donna Slash.

RISK Podcast Taping
Howard Theatre (620 T St. NW)
6 p.m.

Sit in on a taping of the podcast where “people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share.”

Sunday

Eggstravaganza 2016
Walter Pierce Park, near the intersection of Adams Mills Road and Ontario Place NW.
Noon

Kids will scrounge for Easter eggs and candy during this annual, community-funded event in Adams Morgan.
