Firefighters Battle Blaze at Scott Circle Condominium
(Updated at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday) Firefighters were spotted battling a blaze at a condominium complex in Scott Circle earlier this evening.
According to D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Oscar Mendez, the fire started in the General Scott Condominiums, which is located at 1 Scott Circle NW. The fire was deemed under control by 7:18 p.m., said Mendez, who added that nobody was injured or taken to the hospital as a result of the blaze.
Emergency workers closed several streets around the area while fighting the fire.
