President Obama Visits Busboys and Poets on 14th Street
Even President Barack Obama likes to get work done at Busboys and Poets.
The restaurant chain tweeted that Obama visited its location at 2021 14th St. NW earlier this afternoon. According to Busboys and Poets, the president met with seven former inmates in one of the restaurant’s private rooms.
Obama’s motorcade and several secret service agents stood guard over the front of the restaurant while the president and his guests convened inside.
As is the custom in D.C., locals took to Twitter to describe the moment they caught a glimpse of POTUS and his entourage earlier today:
