Borderstan Building Permit Roundup

Curious why there are construction crews at your neighbor’s house? Want to know if a new business is opening on your street? Interested in finding out who’s to blame for all that jackhammering nearby?

The D.C. government every day releases data on the building permits it issues during the previous day. However, a weekly overview of this information for the Borderstan coverage area hasn’t made its way online.

We’re looking to change that.

Today marks the first time Borderstan is releasing a roundup of permits handed out during the past few days. We are including permits issued since Sunday. Next week, we plan to publish a full seven days of permits the government approved.
