A man robbed a high-end retailer in Logan Circle late last week in broad daylight, police said.

The robbery occurred in the Shinola at 1631 14th St. NW about noon Friday.

A store employee asked the man if he needed assistance after he walked into the shop, police said. But he didn’t express an interest in buying anything.

“Back the f—k up,” he told the worker, according to authorities. “This is a robbery.”

The man then grabbed seven watches from a table, put them in a bag and fled.

Police haven’t released a description of the suspect.
