Donations Sought for Shaw Baby’s Medical, Funeral Expenses

Shaw residents are raising money for a longtime local whose infant daughter died late last year.

Tyelynn Entin needs help paying for the medical and funeral expenses of her child, Kandi, according to a fundraising website set up by neighbor Loren Miller. Kandi was six months old when she died in December from complications stemming from a prenatal condition that kept her hospitalized most of her life.

Tyelynn, along with her mother, Angela, “visited her constantly and showered her with love” and were “devastated” by the loss, the fundraising website says.

“They are amazing neighbors who are always quick to bring over food, share a smile, and make you feel good,” the website says. “We would like to help them in their time of need.”

Miller is looking to raise $5,000. As of this morning, the fundraising campaign secured $1,300.
