Mysterious Balloon Spotted Over Logan Circle — A white balloon excited some D.C. residents as it hovered over Logan Circle earlier this morning. The balloon, pictured above, was first spotted by a Washington City Paper journalist as it wafted over the neighborhood around 8 a.m. today. Though a rational mind might assume the egg-shaped object is a weather balloon or another observational apparatus, we’re putting our money on squarely on UFO. Or swamp gas. Or a flock of birds.
