Balloon Logan Circle BRIEF

Mysterious Balloon Spotted Over Logan Circle — A white balloon excited some D.C. residents as it hovered over Logan Circle earlier this morning. The balloon, pictured above, was first spotted by a Washington City Paper journalist as it wafted over the neighborhood around 8 a.m. today. Though a rational mind might assume the egg-shaped object is a weather balloon or another observational apparatus, we’re putting our money on squarely on UFO. Or swamp gas. Or a flock of birds. Or that thing that Mork from “Mork and Mindy” arrived in. What do you think the balloon is? Let us know in the comments.

Kush Gods vs. Cancer — The proprietor behind marijuana edibles company Kush Gods has a new goal: finding the cure for cancer. “We believe that marijuana cures breast cancer!” a newly launched website reads. Though it’s not totally clear what the purpose of the website is, it appears as though the company is seeking donations “to help Kush Gods find the cure and prevent breast cancer!” [Kush Gods]
