Police said 33-year-old Warren William Bibbs shot someone on the 2900 block of 14th St. NW just before 8:27 p.m. last night.
According to a police report we obtained this morning, police came across a man in “full security officer uniform” at a bus stop on the 2900 block of 14th Street NW. The man, who was shot in the chest, was “going in and out of consciousness,” the report said.
D.C. Fire and EMS personnel rushed the shooting victim to the hospital in “stable” condition, authorities said.
A portion of 14th Street NW was closed last night and this morning while police investigated the shooting. Police reopened the stretch of road around 9:45 a.m.
