Willie T’s Lobster Shack Reopens in Dupont’s Pizza Studio

A Dupont Circle eatery centered around lobster rolls and seafood has found a new home — well, kind of.

Willie T’s Lobster Shack, which closed its store at 1511 Connecticut Ave. NW in February, can now be found a few blocks away inside the Pizza Studio at 1333 19th St. NW.

But it’s not a fully separate location. Instead, Pizza Studio employees now sling Willie T’s branded lobster, shrimp and crab rolls in addition to custom-made pies.

“We’ve moved,” reads a sign on the front door of the former Willie T’s location.

Reston-based Thompson Hospitality, the parent company behind Willie T’s Lobster Shack and other restaurants like American Tap Room and Austin Grill, invests in Pizza Studio, according to a press release on pizza industry site Pizza Today.
