Thursday
Happy Hour Live Video Game Performance
Spooky Action Theater (1810 16th St. NW)
7 p.m.
Audience members compete against each other in a race to solve a series of puzzles performed onstage by real actors, much like a video game come to life.
Friday
Puppies at Farragut Fridays
Farragut Square
All Day
Farragut Square will once again become an outdoor office and a picnic spot during the first event in this year’s weekly series. And this week has an added bonus: puppies!
Saturday
MPD Community Bike Ride
Kennedy Rec Center
11 a.m.
D.C. Police officers Larry Garrett and Dia Hymes will lead neighbors on a community bike ride through PSA 308. The distance will be 1.5 miles, and the ride will last for about an hour. Helmets are required to participate.
EU Open House
Northwest D.C.
All day
The European Union Embassies and the EU Delegation to the United States will open their doors to the public for the annual EU Embassies’ Open House. Visitors can enjoy “a day of family fun, food, culture and more” during the annual event, and catch a glimpse inside the embassies.
Mid City Artists Open Studios
Dupont/Logan Circle
All Day Saturday and Sunday
Artists across the area will invite the public inside their studios. “Each studio is unique and locations range from retail spaces, old carriage houses, spare bedrooms, apartments to basements,” according to a press release about the event. “The participating artists represent a great diversity of work, including drawings, sculptures, paintings, prints, photographs and mixed media.” Click here to see a map of every studio that’s participating.
Rock Your Bod: Positive Body Image Rally
National Mall
All Day Saturday and Sunday
Local celebrity Sarah Fraser will host a day of free classes, giveaways, and motivational speakers during this event centered around body image positivity.
