About 8:45 (30 minutes after sunset)

A Pixar film starring¬†anthropomorphic emotions will kick off this year’s Adams Morgan Movie Nights series.


D.C. Dumps Trump
Busboys and Poets (2021 14th St. NW)
6:30-9 p.m.

DC Unite Against Hate will host an anti-Donald Trump event with a photo booth, trivia table and slam poet Julian David Randall.

Songbyrd Music House (2475 18th St. NW)
7:30 p.m.

A musician best known for oddball original songs and masterful puppetry will ply his trade in Adams Morgan.


An Evening of Humorous Readings
DC9 Nightclub (1940 9th St. NW)
7 p.m.

Seth Reiss of “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and other humorists will read “their most literary humor,” according to an event organizer.

Monday, May 23

Tiny Art in a Matchbox
Shaw Library (1630 7th St. NW)
7 p.m.

The Shaw Library will host a session on small diorama making with matchboxes.
