Mount Vernon Square to Have Outdoor Movies This Summer

“Ghostbusters,” “Back to the Future” and other flicks are scheduled to get alfresco showings in Mount Vernon Square this summer.

Washington City Paper and Events DC are set to host an outdoor movie series with four films on the Carnegie Library grounds (801 K St. NW) from July 19 to Aug. 9, according to a representative for the organizers. The free screenings will begin at dusk.

The movies include:

• “Ghostbusters” on July 19.
• “Bridesmaids” on July 30.
• “Back to the Future” on Aug. 2.
• “The Princess Bride” on Aug. 9.
