Man Dies After Shooting in Shaw

police car(Updated at 4:57 p.m. Monday) The man shot in Shaw last night has died, according to D.C. Police.

Police said someone shot 32-year-old Russell Crawford inside of a building on the 1300 block of 7th St. NW around 7:40 p.m. last night.

Officers rushed to the scene and found Crawford suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Though he was rushed to the hospital, Crawford later died, authorities said.

MPD has did not immediately release details on a possible suspect.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
