Meridian Hill Park Mowed — Workers gave Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park a haircut yesterday after weeks of complaints from residents (pictured above). But, there’s bad news: the park’s multi-tiered fountain remains off due to a broken water pump.

‘Artisanal Doritos’ at The Dabney — The Blagden Alley eatery is now slinging a menu item it calls “artisanal Doritos.” The chips, which come alongside orders of smoked catfish dip, are dusted with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, pepper and salt. [Washington City Paper]
