Police Reopen Downtown Streets After Suspicious Package Investigation




(Updated at 5:02 p.m.) D.C. Police have reopened several roads downtown that were closed to facilitate a suspicious package investigation.
Authorities shut down the 2100 block of L St. NW and the 1100 block of 21st St. NW around 4:30 p.m. today to investigate a reported suspicious item.

Police did not immediately say what triggered the investigation. We’ll update this story if we learn more.
